Wallpaper Photos for October 2011

It's true, what the Bible says about flowers and grass: "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:" 1 Peter 1:24 KJV   But in its moment, even an unmowed field can put on a show worthy of a king!

I got this shot in a vacant lot just around the block from my house. When I saw the potential, I just had to wait for a bit for the sun to get in position to light the large grass flowers in the foreground while leaving the 'field of stars' much darker behind.
